Landscape design, built around how you live
Good design starts with a question, not a drawing. How do you want to use this space? Long lunches, a lawn for the kids, somewhere quiet to sit after work. The answer shapes everything that follows.
We design gardens across Sydney's Northern Beaches, from small courtyards in Fairlight to steep blocks in Balgowlah. Every one starts on site.

We walk the site with you first. We look at the slope, the light, the access, and the parts of the garden you already use or avoid. Then we talk about how you live, now and in a few years' time.
If the scope is already clear, we can move straight to a quote. If not, we move into design.

Layout and levels. Where the lawn, paths, seating and entertaining areas sit, and how they connect.
Structures. Retaining walls, steps, decks, screens, fencing and outdoor kitchens.
Planting. Species chosen for your site and the coastal conditions, from lush tropical to Mediterranean.
Lighting and irrigation. So the garden works after dark and doesn't depend on someone remembering to water.

Our designers work alongside our construction team. That means the plan you sign off is one we know can be built, on your block, within your budget. Steep sites, drainage and tight side access are all solved on paper before anyone picks up a shovel.
-
Some projects need council approval. We can take you from concept design through DA documentation and approval, and we'll tell you early if your project is likely to need it.

That's fine too. We regularly build gardens drawn by other designers and architects. Nield Avenue in Balgowlah was designed by Jamie King and built by us. It went on to win Gold at the 2024 Landscape Excellence Awards.
